With regard to your online advertisement I would like to apply for the position of Canine Enforcement Officer for Homeland Security. My family has had long experience here and abroad in this field and I myself keep two German shepherds to guard our property in New Mexico, close to NM9 on the Mexico border. We understand the need for good protection. I have successfully trained my dogs to detect and apprehend strangers who try to cross our land to travel further north. I believe this experience would be helpful in the job that you describe. I have an affinity for large dogs. I am enclosing a picture of my father as a young man when he was working with German shepherds along with one of his colleagues in the police service. It shows our shared family affinity for dogs and our willingness to give whole hearted support for the state and our shared values.
